Perhaps you should try a different JVM version. I've seen cases where
eclipse would crash repeatedly (every 10 min) with one JVM version.
Updating to a different version fixed the problem.
Also I see that you aren't on a very recent Sun JVM (1.5.0_06-b05). I'm
using 1.5.0_11 myself and 1.6 is also
