Shared Library Files in Tomcat 6.0?

I just downloaded the Tomcat 6.0.0 release, and saw that it is missing the traditional $CATALINA_HOME/common/lib, $CATALINA_BASE/shared/lib directories. So where do the shared libraries go? Is this a new 'feature' in TC 6, or is it just that this is something missing on account of the alpha nature
