Hi Joan
I think your problem is not easy to solve. If it is possible to know which
requests could be for this blackbox (from client IP or destination IP) then you
should serve all these requests without using your cache at all.
How to achieve this ? Maybe by using an IP-based Virtual Host on y
I had a similar problem when using jps/jstat and finally I found someone
advising to use -J-Djava.io.tmpdir option. It worked for me, try adding
-J-Djava.io.tmpdir when calling visualvm

you need a CLI/GUI client you still can use jtouch.sourceforge.net which allows
some fine tuning (SSL provider, ciphersuite,..), 'am not making some

Sure,
you can block any IP by configuring a VALVE in the main config file
(server.xml) :
http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-6.0-doc/config/valve.html#Remote_Address_Filter
Or if you are running Linux, you can configure the IPTABLES. This one is more
expensive to do.

Maybe a monitoring tool (NAGIOS/PATROL/..) which is checking if the site is
