not work so I switched JAD java decompiler... I just needed to open

Hi All,
I would like to use the org.apache.catalina.filters.RemoteAddrFilter
filter as part of my web.xml settings. I am just curious to know which
jar file has that class.
Please let me know

Chris,
I was planning on working on a patch for this as a smooth way to get more
involved. :) My work computer is somewhat locked down, so I was planning to
get my home computer setup and then give it a go. The patch instructions I
found looked fairly clear. If I have any questions, I will p

can of worms. :)
It seems like there is a bit of momentum for altering the documentation, so I
thought I would offer something that incorporated some of these suggestions. I

I found tomcat was being killed randomly by oom when it should have been
the virus scanner stuff, I had to reduce the threads as it was consuming
too much memory.
/etc/clamd.d/scan.conf
#MaxThreads 20
MaxThreads 5
I found this by monitoring the output from 'top' command.

I have a CXF web service client accessing a CXF SOAP service running in
tomcat. I'm seeing intermitent issues only when using SSL and I'm not
entirely sure why.
The client logs the following

Chris - The header logging is a good idea. We'll add that. In the meantime,
it looks like it might have been premature to indicate that "the problem
persists with HTTP/1.1". The one instance that I found was a red herring,
so to date the problem has *not* recurred since addressing the HTTP/1.0

If you haven't received a reply, the most likely reasons are:
- no-one knew the answer;

Try this
1. stop tomcat
2. take backup of all logs
3. deleted all logs
4. start tomcat

Dear All - We are seeing a strange behavior in one of our Production
environment since last 2 days.
The catalina.out file is not getting updated with the application debug
information, we can see only startup messages. This was working fine and there
has been no changes done to the system so fa
