That was NOT an issue. I have been using updated taglib URI's for the
last few years (including under Tomcat 5.5.15).
I resolved the issue and it had to do with a servlet from another
framework handling all requests and not re-writing /*/*.jsp correctly
under Tomcat 6 (whatever th

somewhere you shoudl find the -element:
just add the attribute "appBase" in there and you're set.
however, since you're running a pre-packed Tomcat, I don't know where
centOS is storing the Tomcat-config-files - will be your part to find
that out.

I've been having a problem shutting down Tomcat on Windows Vista (32-bit).
It takes forever to shutdown (like 2 minutes), even if I do not deploy any
application besides the default webapps. I'm using version 5.5.27. This
happens both with or without tcnative.dll.
On shutdown, no log
