I have used EWDT too, it's a great book, but i suggest you try Tapestry 5,
it is easy to learn and more intuitive than older versions.

ik think Howard is trying to tell you is that it is impossible for any of us
to tell you where the problem occurs without more information. A lot of
things could have been configured wrong, mistyped, misplaced etc.
