Hi, I'm transfering an application from Tapestry 3 to Tapestry 5. In Tap3 there was a "submitOnChange" Parameter for the PropertySelection Component. Is there something similar in Tapestry 5, and if not what is the preferred way to make this work? The submit can be a normal GET-Request, no need

Just a wild guess. If any method is called before validating the form returns a value that should re-post the form, your field will be null if it's not persisted. So for example, is the submit button handling method returning anything or is it void ? Try *@Persist*ing your field, if it's not null,

Hi George Since Tapestry 5.2, you can use the t:zone parameter of the select component, in order to update a zone of your page (containing your grid). http://tapestry.apache.org/5.2/tapestry-core/ref/org/apache/tapestry5/corelib/components/Select.html http://jumpstart.doublenegative.com.au

Tony, The menu options are determined by your SelectModel. Rather than using your "groups" list as the select model, use SelectModelFactory to generate a SelectModel for you, specifying the attribute to be used for the visible options. See the SelectWithListDemo.java example at http://tapestry.apa
