I’m guessing that you had a hiccup, perhaps permissions problems, along the way. Try this: - Delete directory [openejb]/data/hsqldb. - Go back to the step "Start JumpStart”. This step recreates the database because of the system property -Dhibernate.hbm2ddl.auto=update . - Do the next steps. I’
