Hi 'Casual Trash', (Sorry, got that from your e-mail address; not sure if this is going to you :)) I'm looking into this problem and it appears the move recipe at the bottom of your mail is a nice way to get the Subversion working copy in an inconsistent state in 1.8.3, 1.8.
