The message was reported by TortoiseSVN during the update of a sparse working copy (while downloading to the WC several files/MB). OS: XP SP3 SVN Server: v1.7.8 Tortoise/SVN client 1.8.1 I repeated the operation after cleaning up the WC and it completed successfully. David Lombardi --
