If you have it on your startup items, you can use systemstarter,
sudo systemstarter restart spamd
If you don't know you can restart spamd by:
ps -auxx | grep spam
root11981 0.0 -1.153504 23480 ?? Ss date time /usr/
bin/spamd -d(cp this)
sudo kill -9 119
That would probably depend on how you started it in the first place
(launchd, a Startup Item, etc.)
