Seems you are still running the old spamassassin daemon script. Check in the spamassassin build folder in cpan - mine is ~/.cpan/build/Mail-SpamAssassin-3.0.0/spamd - all the daemon scripts are there. Pick the one for your OS (on Linux that will be redhat-rc-script.sh) and copy it to where-ever yo
