Remove local spamassassin folder

How do I setup spamassassin not to automatically create /home/user/.spamassassin folder. If I create a new email account it automatically creates the folder. Is it a flag in the spamassassin service that runs? thanks Dean

Is there a configuration for spamassassin to catch virus attachments? Or, does any one know of one to run on a server with sendmail? thanks Dean

White list based on host Received From

Is there a way to white list based on the IP using the Received from. We have whitelisted our local domain but have noticed some that spoof our domain. However the Received from tag is usually a different IP. Is it good practice to whitelist using IP? thanks Dean

If statements in local.cf

Is there a way to put an "IF" statement in local.cf? I'm trying to put in a conditional statement in the local.cf to check the return path and the from line. Most of the time when I see a spoofed name its one or the other not both. So what I'm thinking is: If domain.com is in "Return-Path:"

Whitelist Spam

A couple of emails are getting through that are being marked as not spam but is clearly spam. The problem is the spammers put in the from line our domain. However, the return path is something totally different. Is there a good way to handle these messages that get through? thanks Dean

reset spam bayes

I was wondering how to reset bayes for spamassassin. We have had a lot of spam start coming through the past few weeks and I want to flush out the bayes in my directory then try it for the shared bayes. I'm on spamassassin-3.1.3-1. thanks Dean
