Actually, you can forward viruses from a Linux box if the virus is an
attachment
or embedded in the message. It makes no difference what OS you are using when
you send the message. Linux only protects us from the viruses that want to
harm Windows.

spamassassing seems to look at the blacklist_from first and then quits looking
if there is a match. So when I get a message from [EMAIL PROTECTED], it tags
it as
spam. I want to be able to exclude bob from the [EMAIL PROTECTED] without
having to
remove the [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Thanks,
Antonio
How many users do you plan on using this for? Do you use a webmail
client? I could always write something in about a week. Open source
of course using php.
Could be with a database back end, could be just using the user_prefs file,
could have the option for both.

Hope this helps.

this, you might have the spam that it catches moved to a different folder to

Hope this helps.

Here
the whitelist line actually reads:
whitelist_from [EMAIL PROTECTED]
whitelist_from [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I removed the actual entries to protect the innocent.
I don't have that e-mail anymore, but I'm sure that I will get another one and
will copy and paste the headers.

blacklist (and others like trusted networks) need to have all values
on on
Spamassassin using cpan (version 3.0.2). Any help on this would be
appreciated.
