I actually left my /etc/default/solr.in.sh file alone along with the
default settings it came with. The only changes I've made to the default
settings is replacing the /opt and /var directories when installing Solr
using the install script (step 3d below). Other than that I've left
everything
Anyone else with experience or opinions on this topic?
I know there are advice out there to always pin everything, i.e. A), to have a
truly immutable deploy, but then you probably need to be very actively
monitoring new releases, perhaps run "docker scan" to know when to upgrade etc.
