Hi,
I'm trying to setup NFS4 in a container but are having trouble getting
the rpc.idmapd daemon process to work.
At startup rpc.idmapd tries to access two proc files which are missing
in the container.
/proc/net/rpc/nfs4.nametoid/channel
/proc/net/rpc/nfs4.idtoname/channel
They are availa
Openvz Wiki, but...
Some rpc software must be patched or substituted with a release that I
could not find.
To me, the NFS question is still opened, but I switched to fusefs,
much lighter and performing very well. I suggets you to give it a try.

Hi,
If I call correctly you can not run a X-server inside the container as
you do not have a graphical display device in OpenVZ.
But you are able to export your display to an external machine. If xauth
is in your PATH it will create or update .Xauthority upon login invoked
by the ssh daemon.
Hi,
I'm in the process of installing OpenStack on top of Virtuozzo 7.
Following the guide at https://openvz.org/Setup_OpenStack_with_Virtuozzo_7
The link to download file centos7-exe.hds.tar.gz does not work. The web server
returns 404.
Any solutions or alternative url to file?

Bjorn

OpenVZ it self allows creation of container id with 10 chars. But it doesn't
allow the ctid to be used in the interface name.
Is this a known limitation? I seams inconsistent to me to allow CTID of 10
chars but not to be fully supported in the veth support of VZ.
Could this be fixed?
