My stick crashed. I got the files of. but now i cannot open them i
have the following files
.~lock.name
and name.doc
iif i open the name.doc, i have the useless codeselection thing,
after which i get a page with weird symbols. The lock file is blanc.
Is there a way to retrieve my file.

I have tried everything i could find on the help pages, nothing
works. I have a large file with lots of formula's. Every time it
saves it gets stuck and i have to close with the task manager. it
started after it crashed telling me "bad allocation" . This

What OS and what versio of thre OS?
How much memory available in the machine?
Really need that kind of data to even begin to look at ideas / solutions.
