To add to the usefulness of the above, I have included the Paste Icon on
the Toolbar. (The icon is on the drop down of visible buttons so just
highlight it there*) The drop down arrow gives a number of options
including Unformatted text. The same icon on the tool bar also helps when
using Calc.
I have tried every forum. I see others have this problem but cannot fix.
My spellchecker underlines every word in red. Have tried to reinstall.
Tried to change my user ID but the terms are to technical for me and I'm
afraid to delete anything I'm not sure of. PLEASE HELP! I registered

Which spell checkers have you installed?
What language & locale does Apache OpenOffice think that the documents
are in?
My guess is that you have not installed a spell checker

All I want to do is use open office, however I have tried for one hour tonite
to get the download. There must be a way to get the download without taking an
hour.
