New Version and Mac

Help, just downloaded the new version of Open Office you'd been telling me to download. It replaced my old version, then said it wasn't compatible with my current Mac OS. Can't access old files. Can I uninstall Open Office and restore the old version? Thanks, Anne annecureviol...@sympatico
