Probably has to do because the mac you send it to has no file-linkage
(or OpenOffice on them). Make sure the other mac has OpenOffice, and
also make sure that the ODT files are linked to OpenOffice.

when i send a document as an attachment from my MAC to a MAC it cannot be
opened. when sending same doc from my MAC to a PC it can be opened.
