How are you trying to "open or edit" and what happens when you do
whatever it is?

I have a MacBook Air M2 2022 - Model running MACOS Sonoma.
I can not open or edit my saved files on my system that were saved on the
previous MacBook Pro device.
Please can you advise or help to see if there is any way we can work around
this problem.
