They probably did not "change the files". They probably changed which program will, by default, open files with various file types (e.g., DOC and XLS). If that's the case, you need to change the file-to-program associations. That does not involve any change to the file contents. Chuck On Mon, Ma

I had the same problem with it and I do not use office. The computer shop put a trial version on my computer when they file converted my files from the old computer to the new one or Microsquish included it in their windows. I do not want it or need it so I am probably going to delete it off
