When I try to open the application down load on my Mac it gives me an error
message of ‘Image not recognised’.
Why is it so hard to do. If you want people to use this then the down load
process should be easy.

Brand new to Open Office (4.1.1) on newer iMac (running 10.10.4). Did several
searches on Forum and didn’t see my exact issue.
Transferred, text-only files created in MS Office 2004 open fine, even with
tables. But while opening files with images get messaging stating, “need

Tried to rename the offending *.xlsx file to a different extension,
an "ods" file extensionbut my Win7 does not allow me using "save as"
to do this
What is the problem here? And what is the workaround?
