DOC format file saving

I have a form in doc format with macros that has labeled check boxes. After saving labels for the check boxes disappear. Is there a way to make this work in Open Office? If not can LibreOffice do it?

Good grief !!! Cease adding acres of religious text to posts. If that means using a separate (gmail?) acct just for blog posts, then BY ALL MEANS do that. What you elect to send to OTHE recipients is, of course, your own affair. But religion HAS NO PLACE in Apache OpenOffice (or any other blog)
