HI: This is Del Allen ( delal...@comcast.net ), I just got a New computer ( OS is Windows 8.1 ). I (unfortunately) got no disks (reinstall disks) with it and only have vintage disks available. My wife, at time of purchase, not being a PC person didn't think to talk to in regards to my requests.

Hello, I am having an issue with symbols disappearing when placed in front of numerical text in my tables while using OpenOffice Writer. In numerous cells, I have text reading +0, +1, etc. and anytime I leave a cell containing such text it automatically changes to 0, 1, and so on. How do I
