Hi, I have joined the Apache OpenOffice forum - and was supposed to get an
activation e-mail. I have not received such an e-mail.
I tried to get it resent 3 times today, with no success.
Please help get me activated for the forum above.

After update to W8.1 OpenOfffice does not want to work. Old documents can be
printed but if I try to print a new one it says: save as oxp - and nothing
helps. When I try to save as odt it says error. Could this be a trick to force
to buy the Microsoft version? Can you help me please?

My suggestion is a patch and not a solution, but it should work. Try
printing to PDF, then review the PDF for errors, if everything is OK, then
print the PDF. Please let me know if it worked. Thanks in advance.
