Harvey, An afterthought. I am not certain whether there are any difficulties when replacing a newer version with an older one. You might have to uninstall Apache OpenOffice first. Let us what you needed to do to have the version roll-back successfully. - Dennis -Original Message-

Martin, Apache OpenOffice does not export to OOXML formats (including Microsoft Office .docx, .xlsx, and .pptx forms of OOXML). There is only provision for saving to the older formats (.doc, .xls, .ppt). Current versions of LibreOffice do support export as well as import And that might work for
