problem with spellcheck on Open Office 4.1.1

I recently download this update. Now all my documents, new and from previous versions, show up with all text underlined in red (as if it is miss-spelled). When I go to spell check, (and my language selection is correct) it challenges every single word. Every one of them. What is the problem? And, h
