Fred, Apache Open Office if downloaded through the official site (OpenOffice.org) does not add on any other software or malware. You will be redirected to the official mirror site (SourceForge.net) which also will not piggyback malware onto the download. Assuming that you meant that the malwar

This is not our software, please download it from the official site. Apache OpenOffice goes through sourceforge. As a regular practice you should also be able to check for the MD5 of the download.
