What version of Apache Open Office are you using now,
and what version did you use when it did not crash?

Any chance that the list could be configured to allow attachments? It would
save quite a bit of hassle.

I had my computer shut down incorrectly, and when i restarted it and tried to
open a spreadsheet (which was saved several times prior to the crash) it
attempted to recover the document, but was unsuccessful. After the
unsuccessful recovery, when i first double click the file it opens a window
