[Scilab-users] SciNotes not responding

Hi, Just want to ask how to fix the error about scinotes?? Everytime i click SciNotes it didn't pop out instead it show a dialog box with "Cannot guess the file coding"?? I already tried many attempt of reinstalling the SciLab. Hoping for your fast response. Thank you -- Best Regards, ❤ Mark

By chance, are you trying to open a foreign file (such as matlab)? In such case you should open the file in an external text editor, copy it and then paste into SciNotes, which you should open previously directly from the Applications menu of the console or writing scinotes() on the console.
