I tried that configuration but I got a nastran error. It seems it hasn't
got an analyzer for open proc.
a.solver=/msc/nastran/msc2007/linux8664/analysis.dmp.open
This file does not exist.
How can I get

try an upgrade to 2008 version since LAM/MPI are causing many problems.

MSC Nastran 2008 uses OpenMPI as the default. LAM/MPI is an option.
MD Nastran ( MD R3 ) uses OpenMPI as the default. LAM/MPI, HP/MPI and
Intel/MPI are options.
MDR2 had LAM/MPI as the Default and OpenMPI as an option.
