Has anybody built Open MPI on Windows without
using Cygwin?
When I try with anything else (msys2, mingw), there

Hello from 4 out of 4 images.

So I am getting this long startup delay. The same thing

Any ideas? BTW, I know almost nothing about MPI :-(.
Thanks.

On Windows, mpirun appears to take about 5 seconds

start executing its version.

Is it possible to build OpenMPI for Windows
not running Cygwin?
I know it uses /dev/shm, so there would have to
be something equivalent to that not in Cygwin.
TIA.
