cannot run the program
compiled by my PC and hence, the mpirun failed when trying to get both the PC
and server to run the same program compiled by the PC.
Thank you.

ommunicate with another. For example, after compiling a program, an executable
is created and stored on that machine and also on the remote nodes, through the
use of a shared system. So when I run the program, how does the machine I'm at
get the remode nodes to run the program too?
Thank yo
see
PATH=$PATH:$HOME/bin
If I change this, won't it affect other programs as well?
Thank you.

t seems that mpirun, which is /usr/bin/mpirun
currently, should also point to /usr/lib/openmpi/1.2.5-gcc/bin/mpirun, which
also is a shortcut to /usr/lib/openmpi/1.2.5-gcc/bin/orterun.
Thank you.

I'm guessing that because the server cannot run the MPI program, I can't run
the program on my PC as well. Is there some other configurations I missed when
using Open MPI on my server?
Thank you.

is necessary in every case?
Is doing all of the above all it takes to run MPI programs on all 11
nodes, or is there something else I missed?
Thank you.

Do I put the IP addresses of machines I want to use in the machine file? And do
I need to use the machine file everytime I run the MPI program?

What is strange is I do this combination of matrices
more than once in my DNA sequence alignment program,
and the error occurs only when it tries to combine
matrices from one or two particular sequences, but not
the others.
Please help.
Thank you.
