I would check config.log carefully to see what specifically failed or wasn't
found where. I would never mess around with the contents of /usr/include. That
is sloppy stuff and likely to get you into trouble someday.

I'm no expert, but this one is pretty obvious. The error message says exactly
what you should change:

I believe I reported same some months back. I don't remember the outcome or
whether I got it working. But you're not alone anyway.

I believe I tried GCC 4.9.0 too and it didn't work.
I did successfully build it with Intel's compiler suite v15.0.1, so I do appear
to know what I'm doing.
