executable using the new mpicc and libraries, or is using the updated mpirun
sufficient?
Also, this error occurs inside a fairly complicated workflow so it might
take me some time to find a reproducible fail
Could you try using the nightly 1.8 tarball? I know there was a problem earlier
in the 1.8 series, but I can't replicate it now with the nightly 1.8 tarball
that is about to be released as 1.8.3.
