2005-11-08 Thread Troy Telford
I decided to try OpenMPI using the 'openib' module, rather than 'mvapi'; however I'm having a bit of difficulty: The test hardware is the same as in my earlier posts, the only software difference is: Linux 2.6.14 (OpenIB 2nd gen IB drivers) OpenIB userspace tools (svn from openib.org) OpenM

Alternative, if you don't wait until tomorrow, you can replace your ompi/f77/profile/prototypes_pmpi.h with this file: http://svn.open-mpi.org/svn/ompi/branches/v1.0/ompi/mpi/f77/profile/ prototypes_pmpi.h You should not need to rerun configure; you should be able to compile from there.

It's taken me a while, but I've simplified the experiment... In a nutshell, I'm seeing strange behavior in my multi-NIC box when I attempt to execute " mpiexec -d --mca btl_tcp_if_include eth0 -np 2 a.out". I have three different observed behaviors: [1] mpi worker rank 0 displays the banner and

We discovered this exact same problem just a few days ago. It was fixed in r8010 (slightly after your version). Would you mind updating and trying again? (thanks for your patience...) There are also some datatype fixes pending on the trunk right now that have not yet been fully vetted an
