The current X11 (in Fedora 11) does not support them (no include files,
probably no library).
Is there ANY rpm that provides these files (the include files and the
necessary libraries)???

How do I 'rip it apart' ??
Doing an install doesnt seem to be the answer, It does something, but I
have no idea where the bits and pieces are going.
They are NOT in /usr/src/redhat nor in /root/rpmbuild.

I dont know if these are known problems (with work arounds) but
I see at least two major problems with X11 (and the nouveau driver for Nvidia
cards).
(1) The driver no longer understands <+> and <-> to move
among the definitions on the MODE line.

Im looking at some kernel code, and there are 'pr_err' error messages in
it that would help me discover my problem.
However I dont see them printing anywhere.

There used to be a place to put local *.sty files for Latex so that they would
be found. Under the current latex under Fedora11 I cant figure out where
that directory might be and am having to copy them into the directory
with the *.tex file to get them recognized. Not nice.

How do I find the definition of a string in /usr/include?
OK, there has got to be a better way to do this than with find and
grep (which isnt working). BUT how does one find the definition
of a string in /usr/include ???
In particular, I KNOW that month is defined SOMEWHERE, but Im

I cant see how Fedora handles xntpd, and would like some insight.
I see GATEWAY being set in either /etc/sysconfig/network or
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethx depending on wether
you want the same value for all (ether)nets.
But where is this used in a call to xntpd?

I keep several old versions of Fedora around for testing of some software,
so PLEASE dont tell me to just move to the most recent release.
OK, I set my screen size to 1280x1024 in my xorg.conf
