I have a big and old problem with my toshiba satellite notebook's wifi.
The original wifi card was a realtek, which is always freezed, so after
a few months I decided to replace that card to an intel one. I searched
the net for full supported wifi card, and I found that intel wifi link

Skype works on 64 bit system for me. I use fedora 14 and 15 too. the
only problem, when you install skype it cannot use the 64 bit libraries.
so you need to get the 32 bit libs which needs by skype.
you can simply install it with the following rules:
open a terminal
type skype and press enter.

Dear developers!
Before a month I try to get help with intel wifi link card. The problem
was the connection hangs on and sometimes the machine freeze. I tried
fedora 15 with the same result.
I try scientific linux, and centos 6, it's working fine, without any
freeze. I tested near 2 weeks, and
