I looked them up, and they seem to be a well established company.

Upgraded my firewall machine F37->F38 today, with no apparent errors or
issues...
EXCEPT that I found it on power suspend twice in the first hour after
finishing the upgrade. Checked power settings and found "Automatic
Suspend" ON and set to 15 minutes' idle time.

The default did change which affects the gdm user. Unless
you're logged into a Gnome session on this firewall, it
would pick up the new default.

I copied /usr/lib/systemd/system/plocate-updatedb.timer to
/etc/systemd/system/plocate-updatedb.timer and changed
RandomizedDelaySec from 12h to 2h which is supposed to mean
it runs sometime between midnight and 2am.
It did work that way of fedora 37, yet with the same changes
in fedora 38 it is r

On systems I use like that, I kind of like the GUI installed so I
can run GUI tools via ssh X

Since upgrading to F37, I am having problems getting Nut to work properly.

Sorry for any confusion, my bad. The subject line should read "F37 and
NUT", consistent with the Fedora versions mentioned in the original post.

Hi Everyone,
I dnf-system-upgraded my last machine from F37 to F38. I screwed up at

Hi Everyone,
I just dnf-upgraded my last system from F37 to F38. One of the
post-upgrade task is "Update GRUB bootloader on BIOS systems"

Systems with the BIOS firmware have the GRUB RPM packages updated.
However, the
