Hi,
recently I re installed firefox (in order to have the new firefox 49).
Till now, to install programs, I always used yum or rpm, and never I used
the .tar file.
After I unpacked the .tar file, I was immediately able to run the new
version of firefox simply creating a new symbolic link point

I re installed firefox because it didn't work for all the graphic plugins
that was required
(before that with the .tar file) I tried also with yum to get the file from
repository, but I get only a old version that didn't solve my problem...
And using .tar file I ge
they are some files that could do what I need, to finish the installation :
- run-mozilla.sh
- updater.ini
- precomplete
but I am not sure about they really do...

You should. F21 was EOLed over a year ago so it has significant
security bugs that will not be fixed. You really ought to upgrade to at

there I found some files that look to be able to work good in order to
configure firefox...:
- updater.ini
- updater
- precomplete
- removed-files
- platform.ini
- ...
