40 51 00 ff ff ff 0f Error: UNC
I have attached the output of smartctl -x /dev/sde
Fortunately there is nothing important on this drive.

Yes, you should. Fsck only checks the integrity of the filesystem
structures. It's basic

Bear in mind that fsck only checks the filesystem structure. It does
not verify that the data in your files is complete or correct. The

Buy new disk, rsync old disk to it before the errors become
fatal, throw away old disk :-).
