If you read some of the info they send you to...
it tell you how to turn off the tabs
(apparently you can have between 5 and no tabs)

i use primarily for fedora etc, and normally use google-chrome.
This one is so far still working normally, but it too is
threatening me with "new inbox tabs" or ?
