It quit working for me about a week ago, after an ios update I believe.
I found another iPhone app that sends thephotos via wifi to my Firefox
browser where I can do what I want with them but that is not very
convenient.
I am hoping the problem will go away eventually ... :-(

digikam's .desktop file is @ /usr/share/applications/kde4/digikam.deskto

I tried Digikam 2.3 from the testing repo and the problem is still
there. MySQL DBs cannot be created. Digikam is able to create the
tables in the digikam profile, but not in the thumbnails one. It looks
like a Fedora-only problem

it looks like Digikam has some problems in Fedora 16. If you try to
make Digikam create a new DB in MySQL (or to migrate an old one to
MySQL) you get an error like "cannot create tables in the database".
