akmod Nvidia dependencies

I just updated the kernel to kernel-4.0.6-300.fc22.x86_64 and rebooted. The system came up in VGA mode, presumably because kmod-nvidia had not recompiled. Is there a way to force this, or do I have to wait for an update to akmod-nvidia? For the moment I removed akmod-nvidia and rebooted with
