ABRT didn't detect segfaults of usb_modeswitch

f8 ip 0030008ed629 sp 7fff7eb4f000 error 6 in libc-2.15.so[300080+1ac000] ABRT didn't detect those crashes. Is this due to a technical issue? Is there any way to get the name of the function where usb_modeswitch crashed in the above cases, so I can at least file a bug-report? Thanks, Clemens

NetworkManager, usb_modeswitch and Option GSM modem

Hi all, until several update cycles ago NetworkManager handled my Option GT Max PCMCIA modem card perfectly. It automatically switched it from mass storage to modem and activated the modem function. Nowaday I have to manually switch the card invoking 'usb_modeswitch -c 05c6:1000:sVe=O

Usb_modeswitch

I am trying to make a Huawei1692 dongle work in F12. But when I use usb_modeswitch device is not switched to modem mode and I get the attached output. Any hint?? It was working fine with same conf file in F11. Tnx
