Try putting a label on the file system; it worked for me; dont know why

Silly question perhaps, but are you getting any feedback from the USB
itself that it is getting power from the computer? I have run into problems
with disconnects in the past, largely related to something being wrong with
the physical connection between the USB and its port...often it will be a

almost everything, but I can't find the drive itself, maybe I have
only missed somehow. Question is - how can I mount it, and make it
viewable in Nautilus
