Pretty sure his first post says that he wants to connect *to* a Linux
server *from* a client using the Windows VPN protocol.
This means he wants to run a PPTP server on the Linux box so that
clients can connect to it.

It has a sample pptpd.conf which you can edit.

NetworkManager-pptp.x86_64 : NetworkManager VPN plugin for pptp
pptp.x86_64 : Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) Client
pptp-setup.x86_64 : PPTP Tunnel Configuration Script
All those look like client packages for conn
