Im just wondering if someone know how to install packages on RHEL 6.1, I
have installed the demo version but the repositories are empty. I want
to install a GUI on that, along with DB2 and Websphere..

I have never used dd to clone a hard disk.
I use rsync for a lot of my backups , and I was wondering what would
be the best tool to clone a disk. I don't want 3rd party software
also. I want built in command line tools.
I know rsync will resync where it left off if I encounter a pro
I second that sftp through winscp is excellent. I have been using it for years
as well. For remote connections, nothing beats the portability of putty.

Download and install mdadm then run mdadm --scan --assemble /dev/md0
(not sure if the parametes are in good order, I used this command last
year)
