About the only problem I have run into with F26 is that the screensaver

I have a USB device that I want to connect to my computer.
When I connect it,
lsusb does not show that it is connected,
but lshw does show it
and says that the rtsx_usb driver is attached to it.
The question is, Why did lsusb not show the device?
